Taney Co. Partnership Shares Workforce Survey Results

BRANSON, Mo. – The Taney County Partnership releases the results of its 2016 Taney County Workforce Survey during the Branson/Area Chamber of Commerce monthly luncheon on Friday.

Executive Director Jonas Arjes shares they had 133 businesses submit responses for its 2ndAnnual survey. These businesses report having a combined total of 933 current job openings, with the greatest need to fill entry level positions.

The survey results show business are looking for employees that possess basic communication, computer, reading, writing, math and problem solving skills. Additionally many of these job openings can be found in either the Hotel/Hospitality or Entertainment/Amusement industries.
