Taney County Partnership and the Branson Chamber have worked with several employers and partners from the Branson area to embark on recruitment efforts in Puerto Rico through the U.S. Department of Labor. Additionally, we have hundreds of international students and workers who come to the area to live and work through various programs. Find out more »The Branson Exchange Visitor (J-1) Community Support Group (CSG) was established in 2015 by the Branson J-1 Consortium. The Consortium includes various J-1 Visa Sponsors, Community Leaders, Community organizations and area employers dedicated to supporting the Summer Work and Travel program and J-1 participants in Branson. In 2018, the Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce & CVB adopted the CSG and now manage cultural events and activities for students, provide educational opportunities for employers/community members, and maintain an annual budget.
