Taney County Career Days 2024: Bridging the Gap Between Young Talent and Local Industries

As Taney County Career Days approaches its seventh annual edition, it has become a pivotal platform for local students to discover and understand the diverse career paths available in our marketplace across seven distinct industry sectors.

This initiative goes beyond allowing employers to showcase their businesses and educate potential employees. It acts as a significant tool to foster relationships between employers and students, promoting engaging and meaningful interactions. These interactions not only spark student interest in various career paths but also provide employers with a unique opportunity to identify future talent, highlighting the event’s dual role as a valuable recruitment resource and an educational tool.

Taney County Career Days 2024 is to be held at Hollister, Branson, and Forsyth High Schools March 5, 6, and 7. This event, now a cornerstone in our community, is expected to draw around 1200 students. This year, in our ongoing effort to include more students across Taney County, we are delighted to welcome Bradleyville high school students to the Forsyth venue. This inclusion builds on last year’s successful integration of Kirbyville School District’s 8th graders, reflecting our commitment to expanding educational and career exploration opportunities for our youth.

The industry sectors are listed below, and we encourage local businesses and organizations to seize this opportunity to showcase their offerings and engage with the youth. Employers are asked to commit to all three days, with the flexibility of having different representatives on each day.
