BRANSON, MO – The Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce will host job fairs in Puerto Rico during February 12-16, featuring several southwest Missouri companies recruiting for various positions in the hospitality and healthcare fields.

CoxHealth, a regional hospital system in southwest Missouri, is seeking experienced nurses and graduate nurses for its hospitals. With its commitment to growth, opportunity, advancement and caring, as one of southwest Missouri’s Choice Employers, CoxHealth is seeking healthcare professionals from Puerto Rico who are looking for a challenging career in a friendly environment and interested in making a difference in the lives of others.

“CoxHealth wants to make the communities, where we work and live, better, and not just in the area of health,” says CoxHealth recruiter Marolyn Rodriguez. “As a growing system, we are thrilled to welcome well-educated, dedicated nurses, who are passionate about their work, to join our team and take on a new adventure in southwest Missouri.”

Nursing Positions with CoxHealth are full-time and permanent, with competitive benefits including health and dental insurance, an on-site daycare and competitive wages. The hospital is seeking experienced nurses and graduating nursing students for its Nurse Residency Program, accepting NCLEX and non-NCLEX nurses. CoxHealth will help prepare candidates to sit for the NCLEX while working in the system as a Nurse Assistant III.

Companies like Big Cedar Lodge, Express Employment Professionals, and Welk Resorts will seek candidates in various positions for the Hospitality industry in Branson, Missouri, including housekeepers, groundskeepers, dishwashers, cooks and culinary opportunities. Interested candidates are encouraged to attend an event to speak with a recruiter and apply for open positions.

Hospitality positions are full-time, seasonal for the Branson season of April to December, with some positions being year-round, depending on the position and company.

All companies are authorized to recruit in Puerto Rico through the Department of Labor and Human Resources and are obligated to comply with PL.87. Through this agreement, participating companies will offer housing options and transportation for candidates who accept positions in southwest Missouri, including paid airfare and travel to Springfield or Branson, Missouri for the job, as well as other perks and amenities. Spanish-speaking representatives will be available on site to answer any questions about the positions and the experience of living and working in southwest Missouri.

Candidates for all positions must be registered with any American Job Center (Employment Services) in Puerto Rico to be eligible and should arrive with their American Job Center membership ID card, if possible.
