Branson Cafe is seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items to ensure the highest quality of taste and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
  • Station Management: Manage and maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned cooking stations. Ensure all ingredients are prepped and stocked for service.
  • Cooking: Grill, sauté, bake, and fry food items as per the restaurant’s menu and customer requests, maintaining proper cooking techniques.
  • Plating: Present food in an attractive manner, paying attention to portion control, garnishing, and presentation.
  • Quality Control: Monitor food quality and freshness. Adjust seasoning, cooking times, and temperatures as necessary.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation. Communicate effectively with the Head Chef and other team members.
  • Safety and Sanitation: Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Ensure proper storage of ingredients and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory checks, and inform the Head Chef of any shortages or necessary orders.
  • Customer Service: Occasionally interact with customers to ensure satisfaction and accommodate special dietary requests or modifications.


  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a line cook or in a similar role in a high-volume restaurant.
  • Culinary Skills: Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards. Formal culinary training is a plus.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and work in a high-temperature environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in following recipes and presenting dishes. Strong organizational skills.
  • Team Player: Ability to work well under pressure in a team-oriented environment. Good communication skills.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
